Stonecroft Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Buyer’s Guide to New Zealand Wines 2010
Stonecroft Sauvignon Blanc 2008 ***1/2
This Hawke’s Bay winery uprooted its own Sauvignon Blanc vines after the 2001 vintage, but now sources grapes from Te Mata Estate’s Woodthorpe Vineyard, in the Dartmoor Valley. The 2008 vintage (***1/2) is full bodied and lively, with good depth of fresh, ripe melon and lime flavours and a dry, crisp finish.
